How the Remote Immobilization Works
In the unfortunate event that a vehicle is stolen—even if the keys were left inside—the owner can use the Ford Pass application to immediately disable the car. With a simple tap on their smartphone, the engine is shut down, effectively neutralizing the thief's ability to drive away.
