As far as teasers go, this latest one from Ram does not give away much. However, we can immediately spot: noise, burnouts, and Dana White. Could this mean the return of the Ram 1500 TRX?
In a short clip uploaded to Instagram on Thursday, May 14, we see the silhouette of UFC President and Ram ambassador Dana White walking away from what appears to be a lowered pickup truck. Then, there is footage of a wheel performing a smoky burnout, with a bright yellow brake caliper visible. After that, we see a truck doing a donut. More yellow side decals, a tailgate-mounted spoiler, and a sport bar are visible. The rest of the truck is hidden by tire smoke. Finally, the text “THINGS ARE ABOUT TO GET LOUD” flashes on the screen.
No official announcements have been made yet, but we suspect Ram is hinting at a comeback for the Ram 1500 TRX. The TRX debuted in 2021 and was discontinued after the 2024 model year. If it is indeed the new TRX, we expect it to once again feature a supercharged V-8 and be an off-road beast. The Ram 1500 RHO exists, but it is still no match for the TRX. Ram also needs something to compete with the Ford F-150 Raptor R.
