Hennessey Performance is marking its 35th anniversary by launching an ultra-limited 2026 Super Venom Mustang. This special edition, limited to just 35 units, combines aggressive performance upgrades with exclusive anniversary styling and signals the company's broader ambitions for the future.
The Texas-based tuner has returned to the Ford Mustang platform for this milestone. Each vehicle features unique "35" badging and a "91" hood graphic referencing Hennessey's founding year. Under the hood, the car's 5.0-liter V8 engine has been upgraded to produce 850 horsepower, a significant boost from the standard 500 hp, supported by a carbon fiber performance package for enhanced cooling and handling.
While the anniversary Mustang is a celebration centerpiece, it reflects a larger strategy for Hennessey. The company indicated this special edition is part of plans extending beyond the Mustang, with its existing Venom F5 hypercar platform expected to play a key role in future developments.
The Venom F5, introduced in 2020, has seen several iterations, including a 2024 roadster and the 2025 F5 Evolution pushing 2,031 horsepower. The 35th-anniversary Mustang serves as both a tribute to Hennessey's past and a preview of its continued expansion into extreme high-performance vehicles as it looks to its next generation of hypercars.
