The Mule Deer Foundation (MDF) is launching a major giveaway to support its conservation work, offering a brand new 2026 Can-Am Defender Max XT Cab HD11 valued at $33,000. This initiative highlights the significant role of private conservation efforts within the hunting community, which dedicates substantial time, effort, and funding to wildlife and habitat preservation.

The fundraiser, part of MDF's Ultimate Giveaway, aims to support critical projects including habitat restoration, protection of migration corridors, and other initiatives for mule deer and blacktail deer across the Western United States. MDF collaborates with volunteers, members, and federal agencies like the Bureau of Land Management and the U.S. Forest Service to execute this work, which benefits entire ecosystems beyond just the target species.

"This partnership reflects a deep commitment to conservation and responsible access," said MDF President & CEO Greg Sheehan. Can-Am's Marketing Director, Jeremi Doyon-Roch, echoed that the Defender is built for those who depend on the land, and the partnership supports keeping landscapes healthy for future generations.

In addition to the grand prize vehicle, the giveaway includes other prizes such as guided hunts, outdoor gear, lifetime MDF memberships, and firearms. The funds raised will directly contribute to countering challenges like habitat loss and climate change that threaten mule deer populations.
